San Diego Youth Pheasant Hunt 2018

The annual San Diego Junior Pheasant Hunt held each year near Lake Morena is Feb 11th, 2018.....This is a great event for kids....Shooting instruction, archery, NWTF booth/turkey calling, varmint calling, dog training, pheasant hunt, and cleaning of pheasant.....Lunch and drinks are free too.

Must have junior hunting license (10-17).....1st come, 1st served (1st 60 registered kids)

Steve Balbo (chairman) was at our Fish & Wildlife Commissions meeting last night and we granted him $2,900.00 for the hunt.....He also stated that the hunt was getting close to full.

It's truly a great event for kids that have never shot or hunted much.

Cool.......He'll have a great time.....Maybe he's got some buds at school that would be interested.....Plenty of time to get that hunters safety class & license.
