When you are new to hunting and hungry, how far do you go to find deer and pick a spot for hunting?
When is too soon to scout?
Apparently I don't have the answer because if I have the time..I go, no matter how far.

When do bucks drop antlers down here typically? Curious as to when they drop amd start growing back in an avg year.

Most, if not all have dropped by now...The new antlers start back almost immediately.
