Steve –
On Monday, CRPA filed a motion requesting an injunction against enforcement of California's recently implemented ammunition laws. The injunction is part of the case Rhode v. Becerra, filed in April of 2018, where lead Plaintiff and gold medal Olympian shooter Kim Rhode and other Plaintiffs have asked the court to halt enforcement after a train wreck of a roll out of the new law on July 1st.
You and I both know the entire system is an unconstitutionally excessive burden on law-abiding gun owners, with little to no law enforcement value. California ammunition retailers were given little if any guidance from the state explaining the procedures for processing ammunition sales -- causing mass confusion. It’s been chaos.
If the court grants the Plaintiffs’ request, it will prohibit California from enforcing its ammunition sales restrictions while the Rhode case is fully litigated. A hearing on the Plaintiffs’ request is currently scheduled for August 19. A decision is expected sometime thereafter.
CRPA and NRA are committed to defending your Second Amendment rights, with dozens of current and future lawsuits in the works.
Your support would mean we can build up our legal war chest and continue this fight. TOGETHER.

This is a crossroads in history for gun owners. Now is the time to STEP UP. That is why CRPA is taking action to end this attack on Americans like you and me -- but to move forward in this case, we need to raise more funds to fight for our 2A freedoms.
We've had some MAJOR wins in court lately, but there is much more at stake.
We have some of the best lawyers in the game on the case, and CRPA is fighting everyday with actionable lawsuits that will change the tide. And we need your help.
