1st time out with the hoop net, I didn't listen and got the steel bait cage not the seal proof one, sure enough they were stealing my bait, went to the truck got me a sock and put some holes in it much better. It was a slow night on the pier, one guy pulled up 2 shorts, another snagged one legal size but not the method of take, had to release. Only thing I got was 2 small stingrays. Better luck next time.

I’ve had no seal problems since switching to home made PVC bait tubes a few years ago.
