Thoughts?

Looks to be just a weird bluewing, still cool though. I was curious so I searched bluewing greenwing hybrid and this is what they look like.

Another cool one is gadwall shoveler hybrid. Whats really interesting about this one is that neither have the white patch on the face, but the hybrid does.

Bird is at a former duck club property in Orange County. Perhaps one that Sprig used to hunt? He had a bunch of blue wing buddies.

Top picture appears to be a drake ringneck & coot....2nd pic seems to be a bull sprig & a drake greenwing.... :blush:
