My schedule is such that it would be August before I would be available to do a private training at my ranch. Let me know and we'll set it up.Fred,
I need to have Coley done too....Maybe you can up a day for us SCH'ers?
Yep that will be me, I was just in Brentwood a couple weeks ago. Please introduce yourself when you make it.I'm in the Los Angeles area and it's hard to find a "close" class. They seem to be a either north of me or way south. That being said, I'll be seeing you in Calabasas in July Fred. I'm assuming you'll be at that one.
You want the dog to be at least six months when using a shock collar due to the fear periods they go through when very young. From my experience I think it works best when they at about eight months to begin the aversion training process. How old should they be for aversion training? My pup is 5 months old and have somewhat started the aversion training by chance when we have encountered rattlers. 2 alive and one was dead. And then we have encountered 3 other types of snakes since. She already seems like she wants to avoid snakes.
