New to the forum and new-ish to hunting. Yet to fill a deer tag, but having fun learning a ton. Archery and rifle deer hunter, as well as turkey and dove/quail.

This is an excellent forum with a ton of killers so ask away! Sprig is a walking hunting encyclopedia.
Also, there are NWTF meetings on the last Tuesday of every month in Poway at the Hamburger Factory where people share a lot of helpful information if you want to drive down.

I can’t second this enough. The NWTF meetings really improved my success.
Everyone there has been really friendly and helpful. Heck, I even got my dog from someone I met at a meeting.

6:30 PM January 24th is the next meeting. Most get there 15-30mins early though.
No December meeting due to the holidays. Drop on by!
The NWTF Spring Turkey Tune-Up is March 11th as well....Hunting turkeys in the "16" is a great way to scout/hunt a new area........
