Well just got back from day 2. The opener was dead no turkeys to be found. Today brought better luck with all 3 of us scoring.

I love my stoger 3500 3 1/2" magnum turkey loads with the turkey choke puts a nice pattern even at 40 yds. I love that gun just a tad heavy.

Sweet love scouting turkey this time of year. I'm in nor cal lots of turkey around the opener can't come soon enough. I'm new to this forum but will be checking in. I look forward to seeing what the so cal turkey season has to offer.
