10 day wait period update?

I looked all over the site and dont see anything about the 10 day wait issue. I was told at a gun shop we should find out this month does any one know anything about it? maybe the guys from fine fire arms?

180 days for the date of the strike down is what I am reading

thaks i have read a billion articals and never saw the 180 day. so i should be coming up here in a little while. I cant wait.

So does this mean our 10 day waiting period will no longer be mandatory for the folks with guns that have gone threw the 10 day already ????

Thats what I understand. If you already legally own a fire arm that has been checked before you will not need it since the waiting period is for a cooling off period. You will just do the doj back ground check It make sence and puts California on track with most other states regarding waiting period. 180 days is almost here. I hope it sticks it will save money on gas when purchasing something far from home.

Thanks for that. The 180 days is long past and still nothing. I'm sure it will never go anywhere
