30-06 reloads

DO NOT JUST CHANGE BULLETS WITH THE SAME LOAD OF ANOTHER BULLET! You may experience unsafe pressures.

Assuming you are using Nosler Ballistic Tips with IMR 4350 powder you can start at (min) 53.0 grains and work up to the (max) 57.0 grains. Work your way up. Each bullet design can create different pressures.

You can also shrink your groups by changing bullet depth's. Nosler suggests a COAL of 3.340" with the Ballistic Tip.

Thanks NBK.. I was just hoping to not have to start over with the nosler.. How about other powder choices now that things are nuts...?

I would look at IMR 4831 as well as N160. Possibly RL22 but concentrate on the low end (59-60 grains). Also IMR 4064 is a good powder for the 30.06.
