The annual USASOC Sniper Competition will be in March at Fort Bragg. This year they will have a new team.
The boy and his teammate won the Regional Qualifier for a ticket to the big show.
The boy’s original partner had to back out of qualifier with a month to go. Partner had a change of job to staff position and wasn’t going to be able to continue practicing and definitely wasn’t going to be able to go in March. G was pretty disappointed, but found a new partner he had known for a couple years. They trained together 3 times before the qualifier; thinking they would just do their best.
Best they did ! They ended winning, with lights out shooting !
They received a trophy that will stay with their Battalion for one year.
Needless to say G was pretty pumped !!
