Beef Short Rib tacos, Korean style

Looks great Mike.

Try this marinade next time you do the short ribs. It's ah-maze-ing!

Ingredients:

5 Tablespoons toasted sesame seeds (mashed or coarsely ground)
2 Bunches of green onion (scallions) trimmed and finely chopped
12 Garlic cloves minced (by hand with a knife)
1 Cup Soy sauce
1/2 Cup brown sugar
7 Tablespoons Gochujang (Korean hot pepper paste)
3 Tablespoons Asian sesame oil
4 Tablespoons finely chopped fresh ginger (by hand with a knife)
3-4 pounds thin sliced beef short ribs (Korean style)

Directions:
1. Grind sesame seeds into a coarse powder. Whisk together onions, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, hot pepper paste, sesame oil, and ground sesame in a large marinade bowl. Add ribs to mixture and marinade for a 24 hours. Braise or BBQ ribs to a medium rare.

Yum.. sounds/looks great. I do a similar marinade and it works great on grilled dove and quail too. Or anything grilled for that matter.

Essentially the same recipe NBK. I get the boneless short ribs at Costco, slice them very thin and put the, on the griddle till the marinade caramalizes..
