Well,
I'm definitely learning the meaning of perseverance when it comes to hunting. Been on multiple trips now for deer, quail, and turkeys.
Of the 3 I've managed to only spot 1, which happened to be quail and a shit ton of um so I can at least stay positive with that. Lol . All that being said , I'm still freaking HUNGRY to get after them animals n to fill my freezer with some game .
They say some of the best lessons in life are learned the hard way, I've definitely got the hard part down now. I hike a MINIMUM of 5 miles off the road or trail head an well over that if we're counting elevation. Bottom line ,
That first TURKEY I kill will be the sweetest victory of my life ... Well until I get that first buck that is ..
