@NBK Just wanted to say thanks for the quick turnaround! Couldn’t wait for the bolt to be nitrided before shooting so took it out today. Fire forming brass with 230eld x and 60grns RL-17 gave me a cool 2711 fps. I have 25 more to fire form but looking promising so far! Target is last 6 shots. Thanks!

Fantastic!! What are the specs on your setup? I want very interested in a 338 SS, but ended up getting a "hand me down" 338 RUM instead.

Shooting on BLM in imperial. It’s not too bad. 1.3 hrs from my house on the 8. Just have to beat the heat!
Jake, it’s a Defiance rebel SA, proof 24” 9.4 twist, McMillan game Hunter edge fill, and I had FF put one of their titanium 3 port brakes on it. I’m just using the 230s to fire form. I have Berger 250s and 213 hammers to run in full power loads after I finish forming.

Very nice! My 338 RUM is similar, but with 26" carbon six and the lone peak action. Those 213's are fun, I am thinking I will bring those for my elk hunt this fall. Saving the 260 HH for our local deer. LOL.
