First Archery Deer

Well finally after a few years attempting to connect on a deer with my bow it finally happened. After missing a nice 3x3, a monster fork and rolling my truck 6 times I ended up getting a 20 yard broadside up hill shot at a doe that went no more than 50 yards from where I shot her and died next to the road. 3 weekends huntin Camp Pendleton after I missed the first to because I was on ship. 78 pounds hangin.

me and my buddy are both ok. my neck and back were sore and his hip were sore. The accident investigator was in shock that I survived considering how mashed my side was. 4 point harnesses and race seats are pretty much what saved us

o yeah. after I shot and with the 2 minutes it took my buddy to turn the truck around another doe walked by and then when I got on the ridge line to look for blood 2 spots on the blood trail I look up and 2 more does are staring at me and then on the 4th spot my buddy yelled that he found her. the tail gate if good with glass. motor runs I drove it on the trailer from the tow yard. front axle is good. But NFS.

right now the truck is yard art but im gonna part some of it out. I got my d15 tag so gotta buddy that has showed me some spots. it was the weekend after I rolled it
