My nephew Albert went out this morning with Anthony and Timothy to try and fill his A31 tag. They went up to a familiar area in hopes of getting Albert on any legal deer.
Not long after they started glassing, a doe was spotted and the stalk was on. Albert and Anthony moved in while Timothy stayed back to guide them. The guys were able to move in on the deer as it fed. While Albert got ready for the shot Anthony was ranging and giving him the yardage.
When the deer presented a shot they were ready and Albert sent a perfect arrow hitting it in the pocket. The deer went about 40 yards and piled up at the bottom of a draw. When they came up on the deer they were all surprised to find out Albert had taken a buck that had shed it's antlers. Congrats buddy on your deer you guys did it up.
