Hi all,
I am again the San Diego NWTF J.A.K.E.S event chairman.......This years get together is June 27th at Escondido Fish & Game Association's complex near Lake Wohlford.
As in years past, The event starts with registration at 8:00 am......The program starts at 9:00 am......Lunch is at noon and event is over by 1:00 pm.
There are 6 stations for the kids.......Station 1 is Turkey calling & biology.....Station 2 is tomahawk throw.....Station 3 is Bow and arrow.....Station 4 is black powder shoot.....Station 5 is .22 shoot.....Station 6 is shotgun shoot.....And lastly the BB gun shoot.
This is an entry level event and we encourage kids between 6-12. Although we take kids up to 15 (youth hunters).
I will start taking names starting on June 1st.....Sharp!.....Remember, it's the 1st 100 kids (plus alternates).....Last year, we were full in 3 days......Again, the ONLY way to register your child is to call me......760-803-4868
The cost is FREE for all kids (including lunch & drinks)......Adults pay $5.00......All kids get t-shirts as do all helpers (plus hats for them)....We also have a number of turkey calls we give out and other goodies.
As usual, I could use some help at each station. And donations are always welcome. If you would like to help on this great day....... Please call or e-mail me.
