There are so many good boot companies out there.... I don't know of any local store that sells Kenetrek but I wouldn't let that deter you, and I wouldn't be too focused on any one brand. Lowa, Asolo, Scarpa, La Sportiva, Crispi, Kenetrek, etc, etc, etc. The key is finding the company that builds a boot around a mold that approximates the shape of your foot. They are all making quality product. They will all fail eventually. The most important thing is finding the fit that doesn't put a hole in your foot. No one can tell you what will work for your foot, it will take time and money. Honestly I would focus on brands you can try on locally.... otherwise you will just be guessing.
