LATE SEASON GOOSE HUNT

I am interested in a late season hunt in Imperial county and was wondering on how to go about it? I know that hunting is restricted to private land and I guess i'm looking for some direction on how to go about finding a spot? Any thoughts or help is appreciated.

The only bird hunting that would be open in the valley would be Eurasians.

I was out there yesterday......No snows on my buddies club.......Ed Rister (local guide) was hunting next to Unit 1. Didn't see any birds working their way, but they may have got them early......Another friend was on Al Kalin's property (also next to Unit 1).......2 parties were set-up on the "Pipeline" next to Sonny Bono headquarters. Saw no snows in this area......And lastly, there were some guys set-up across Hwy 111 from Y14 (Wister).

If the birds are leaving the refuges, I didn't see it......Obviously, no public land in these locations and the fields or clubs next to the refuges are posted.

There is zero opportunity for free late season goose hunting in the valley. This late I would doubt any of the guides have openings.
