My dad forwarded me an email yesterday from Turners for the "5th Annual Cibola Sportsman's Club Goose Fest Of The West". The club is located around the CA/AZ border south of Blythe. Before we commit the money I was wondering how the hunting reports are for waterfowl this late in the season for that area? I need to call the guy there this afternoon to confirm the spots so any information would be great. Appreciate it!

Can be good but generally not. The migration dictates harvest numbers. Cibola has not had excellent hunting for geese off of the river for about a decade. The best time to go are the first 2 weeks of December. Once the birds migrate they get used to the area and get on a program.

With that said - you never know.
