Trad-Bowhunting So Cal. style.

I think I have never killed a buck on the last day of the season......... I'm stoked.

I wrote in my hunting journal earlier this year, DON'T kill this buck, he is a 4x2, so only scores as a forky.

Well, he gave me one to many opportunities to kill him......

I have videos of him from earlier this season.

I thought he would go around 110" on the hoof, but I think he will go around 106-108" had a little ground shrinkage, he looked awesome on the hoof.

I'm going to find some Makers Mark right now.....

Man, I'm a wreck right now, I will do a recap of the season later on.

Twas a tough year for So Cal bucks.

p.s I think I might have a drinking problem 8)

No Lie MJB, kinda like a sailor, any port in a storm......

I saw this buck several time this year, chose to pass on him, knowing I was seeing some better bucks.

Another thing helped me make my decision was a lot of the bucks are busted up, got into a real heavy 4x3 that had snapped his left main beam, another buck was a 3x0 he already shed one side. Last year I had a monster 4x3 that shed his 4x side early, he ran around for a month with just one side.

My SD card seems to be locked and will not let me get the pic's off of it, I have tried everything to try and open it, it will not open.

I had one freeze and as I was going to throw it away, I noticed the little slide lever on the side was stuck in the back position. After manually sliding it forward it worked.
 
Team VD (Vince & Dave) Very Deadly, never a doubt buddy especially because we share information regularly, was hoping for the 4x4 pic but
that will do, makes it a bit tighter at measuring time :] CONGRATS BUDDY you always find a way to get it done.
 
Well done Dave. I knew something would go down. For the contest they score gross so you'll get every 1/8 he has.
