my first long range build

Still alot of work too be done but making progress. Thank you to john at fine firearms and the owner john also i cant thank u enough.

O moa rail and yes thats an alpen on top my scope has 70 moa elevation adjustment so i figured when i can surpass 1300 yards wich on the bc calculator for my round is 33 moa of adjustment then ill switch to a 20 moa but ive got some practice to do before i get there. Im extremely happy the way it turned out. I am planning on upgrading optics in the future. Hopefully to a nightforce but i want to start load development this weekend and hopefully shoot a giant sd buck with my new rifle.

Shes awaiting patiently to kill her first d16 buck. Had one come by at 12 yards first light and couldnt get my gun up fast enough. Shes very angry with me but well work it out.

Where are you at with your load development?

Havnt started yet i sighted in friday with basic hunting rounds just to get me by. Still need powder and primers befor i start reloading. Gun shoots factory ammo ok but doesnt like it much. Hoping to get a basic load workup put together this week.

I have a rifle that looks exactly like yours with the same barrel, action and stock. shoots awesome now that I worked a load up for it. At least the buck I shot this year didn't like it haha
 
Just did another range test. This is my best 5cshot group ive ever shot. This is from a bipod on a bench with factory nosler 168 grain trophy grade lr ammo at 100 yards. This is with no bedding job and factory trigger.

That is an amazing group Tanner. I had a good feeling about this build. Lights out brother!
