Newbie Duck hunter got a couple

My best friend had a #8 for the opener and my kid had #7 for the next day so we spent the weekend out there. Had a great shoot on Saturday with me being the only one who didn't limit. Boy got a nice redhead, friend's boy got a nice drake mallard and oh yes did we have teal. I ended up with 4 the first day and 4 the second day. Sensory overload in the early hours screwed me up to where I got my first bird on my 25th shot. Got the other three with my second box. Much more settled on Sunday I took fewer shots and only spent 15 or so rounds for my 4 that day.

Hat's off to you and your boys Ahidog! Strong work on the ducks. As far as shooting two boxes of shells - I always say "the more shells you shoot the more fun you are having".
