Join us for the next NWTF San Diego Chapter monthly meeting, to be held this Tuesday, 26 October at 6:30pm at the Hamburger Factory in Poway. Many of us get there by 6pm to have dinner and chat.

We will be discussing the waterfowl and local deer openers, upcoming seasons, early planning for the Spring Turkey Tuneup, turkey reports from the field, etc. This will be our last meeting for the calendar year since we do not hold Nov/Dec meetings due to the holidays. All welcome - you do not need to be a member to attend. See you there!

We are also starting to take donations for next years NWTF/Lake Henshaw Spring Turkey Tune-Up....Feb 26th, 2022....It appears the draws for Lake Sutherland hunts will be held at the STTU.... :blush:

ps...It seems we had a pretty good recruitment year...From today.....;)

Steve gave a good overview on why we shouldn’t shoot fall hens and the efforts by some parties to eradicate turkeys in California.

Might make a good sticky in the upland subforum.
