So at our place in NW Oregon, does, fawns and spikes roam freely through the neighborhood, but I never see anything bigger than a fork. Until now. The rut has apparently begun because I’m seeing quality bucks throw all caution to the wind. Deer I haven’t seen all year are suddenly chasing does down the street in broad daylight. Pretty crazy. These are black tail, so not monsters by Muley or Whitey criteria, but with heavy bodies, bulging necks, and thick racks.
