Slow bassing past couple of days.

My son and I got out on Hodges yesterday and San V today for a little float tubing. Fishing was s-l-o-w! He always out fishes me anyway, but even he struggled! He managed three at Hodges and five at San V to my one at each lake. (Maybe I need to have him give me some lessons? )

Better than being skunked….Hitting Hodges myself on Wednesday....Summer bite can be tough, since it's normally real early & real late.

You got that right! Both my fish were 11th hour miracles.
We only fished the mornings and got out before it got too hot. We were only tubing so we didn't cover a lot of water.
Good luck Wednesday! Our fish came on frogs and flukes at Hodges.
