Socal mule deer rut?

Sorry for the dumb question, but when do these desert mule deer rut in the San Diego Area? (d-16)
 
Right during the rifle season.....lol.......Actually our deer down here can rut up to 3 months......Oct-Dec.

The reason I asked is because I was told the mule deer rut just a few hundred miles east in AZ was usually mid January.. Deer rut in late October into mid November where I'm from up north.. So I was curious. Thanks again!
