Shot this guy on the last day of a 3 day hunt. These hogs on Tejon are pretty educated from all the hunting pressure.

Bonj the north and east face slopes are so green. Friend of mine invited me out. I bow hunted hard for 2 days and my only opportunity was killed by a rifle hunter. Last day snuck up on this hog with a boomstick in its bed. I was in bow range too. Gonna be a good eater pig.

It's really no fun when they are all over the roads......this time of year they stay in the deep dark canyons with all the feed & water around.......Nice pig!

Thanks NBK, it was kinda of cool to hunt with a boomstick I have not used a gun since 2004 when I drew White Sands for Gems buck.

I shot an Oryx there...It was a once in a lifetime tag. Pretty cool hunt for us. Damn cold place in the morning though. I did not shoot a whopper but I did and up with a nice animal.
