I have never tried it but I have heard taking four tums during the high elevation event and a week or two before helps. You could start now and see how it goes.
 
It won’t be too bad, I just hiked them same hills sucking smoke chasing dozers around. These guys are right, get there a couple days early. Test it out with coors
