Had a good afternoon shoot in Plaster City a few weeks ago with my buddy John. Got permission from a geothermal plant manager to shoot next to their property, which was in a flight path to a feed lot. The guy REALLY appreciated that we came in and asked for permission instead of just blasting away, which is a 150 yard violation. We also offered him some birds. Ended up with about 60 birds which were 50/50 mournings and ECDs. Got some amazing magic hour dusk photos on John’s new I Phone 13 Pro.

Also looked for quail. Nada ‍
