I've been using OnXmaps for the past 5 years. I also needed a good gps navigation app for offroad and "overlanding" use for a long time. I bought Delorme Topo years ago and ditched that long ago. Google Earth is not really suitable and Google Maps pretty much fails even when you download maps...

Update - I did get my points reinstated. If Los Padres opens before the end of October I'll probably pick up a tag for D13, along with everyone else who's hunt got blown out due to the closures.

That's good info, thanks. I'm going up a day early to stay in Morro Bay for the weekend. The gutting and skinning is something I really want to see, and if there is participation I'll call that a score. Thanks again.

Anyone who has attended one of these, do you need to bring anything besides yourself? The registration website only has generic info on what the advanced hunter ed classes cover. I'm going to the upcoming one in San Luis Obispo and would really hate to get there and find out I needed to bring...
