Be careful renting the jeeps from the airport- they were not allowed off the pavement. I love Lanai, but the logistics can be crazy, especially during the state hunts. Best of luck to everyone!

I have been hunting D and B zone all my life. It is ever evolving especially with the fires of recent years. Plenty of animals around, but bears are not easy to come by. Sure you may see one or two here or there but killing them is another story.

I love hawaii!! Sheep are some good eats too, nothing like Axis but way better then goat.

Short recap on how the season has gone so far. Some big game birds in the spring followed by the notorious A zone archery forky then a NV desert buck then a B zone buck followed by a 3 week vacation in Hawaii with some more archery hunting and two sheep.
