    24 billion missing

Thanks Doc. I’m sure I didn’t get the quote exactly right, but I think I got the gist of it lol.

FUTURE OF CALIFORNIA FISHERIES IN 2050

Sounds like they had an agenda and were directing your responses plus omitting others. Ideas like the artificial reefs you mentioned would be on my list. I would add stop doing destructive things like blowing up the litttle spillway dams on Trabuco Creek, which were what made the creek fishable...

FUTURE OF CALIFORNIA FISHERIES IN 2050

My list of concerns would have differed from yours, but thank you for your willingness to participate.

    Well boys

Eastern Oregon is trying to become Greater Idaho. The west side of the state where I am enjoys being libtarded and has no intention of joining a sane state like Idaho.

Never heard of that one. Black, green, which color marker do you use? I’m intrigued.

    Well boys

Lee, if RED is your priority I doubt you’ll be up here in the Pacific Northwest. But if you find yourself in NW Oregon give me a holler. I am in a red County, for what thats worth. I could put you up for a few days. If you like wine tasting, this is heaven. Then head straight east to Idaho...

    Cute as a button

Fawning season started a few weeks early this year in our neighborhood in NW Oregon. We watched this doe waddle around getting rounder and rounder, then this little guy showed up next to the side yard fence.

As my pop would’ve said, there’s more than one way to skin a cat. And if it doesn’t break, don’t fix it

I used the Palomar knot for just about everything until fluorocarbon came out, then I learned the Double Uni for connecting to mono. With braid had to learn the RP knot for connecting to fluorocarbon or mono leader. That’s pretty much the extent of my ropemanship.

Fun day with the boy catching some bass

Great stuff! Fine looking young man. Can’t wait for my 3 yr old grandson to get a little older. Was that staged - with the gopher snake appearing at Snake Charmer’s property? Lol

Great fishing Sat 5/19 - went DEEP

I learned it years ago from the captain of the Royal Polaris, hence the name RP Knot. He claimed he invented it. He only uses five wraps and catches 300 lb tuna, so I’ve never used more than five.

Steve, For top water straight braid is fine. For everything else I tie braid directly to a few feet of floro leader. I mostly use the RP knot for the connection. It has a very low profile and I’ve never had a problem with it. Go onto YouTube and find a video if you don’t know how to tie it...

Once you start using it, you’ll never go back Steve. No more mono memory, no stretch, no more changing line every other trip. Fresh, salt, I use it on every reel I have. And it revolutionized the tackle industry for the better imo.

Spot-lock changes everything for the small boater. We haven’t deployed the anchor once since getting the new electric motor a few years ago. I would say braid was the greatest thing since mono, and Spot-lock is the greatest thing since braid

Good luck YETI. Post a report when you return. Catching rockfish after failing to find the tuna is something I’m familiar with.
