Went out to Wister yesterday around 2:00, ended up with a decent strap for a slow day. 2 hunters. Going out on another sea hunt this morning, will post pics as it unfolds.

Anyone have an update on the roads at Wister? I heard it rained again down there last night, is that true?

Settle? You call that settling?? I was at Wister this morning setting up around 4 AM when it started raining on us we packed everything back to the truck and left. waited around till 730 and it started pouring. Seems like we made the right decision to get out before things got really bad.

Ended up with 3 limits by 2:00, 14 Widgeon, 6 Redheads and a Spoonbill. .

Getting up at 2 am tomorrow to try out a new hunting spot on the sea. Will try to post pics as the day goes and keep you guys updated.

Finally got out for the first time this year. Scouted a good spot and was able to grab it in the morning. Me and pops ended up with 6 gads, 2 Pins, 1 Widgeon, 5 Spoons and a goose. Done by 12:00. Guys at the check station said it was really slow and that most guys were coming in with 1-2 birds...
