thanks everyone for your suggestions. i’ve got a lot to think about. i think i like what sprig was saying though about just getting bigger binos even though i said i didn’t want them at first. i can always get a bigger spotter later if i need more power. i’ll let you guys know what i end up getting.
i will try to make some time to do that. i still have to save up a little more money to buy anyways so it would definitely be help to loom through different binos
i have my 10s on a tripod and it’s way better. my budget is probably under 2000. i’m just hunting all around d16 for now so everything from the desert to some mountains. i’ve read a lot of reviews and it’s all over the place. just want to get something that should work for the d16 area for now...
so i was looking at the leupold santium 27-55x85 and i dont mind saving up for that but not sure if i needed all that power. i’m not trying to count the number of eyelashes from 4 miles away. i really like the reviews on the athlon 15-45x65 also. suppose to be the best in the magnification class
so after this season of seeing lots of deer with my 10x42 binos and not being a hundred percent sure if they were doe or bucks it’s time for me to get some bigger glass. i’m stuck on should i get a 20-60 or similar or drop down to a 15-45x65mm. i mostly saw the deer in question around a mile out...
good work man!! i think i met you during archery season. i was helping my buddy carry out a doe when you and your friend walked up and we talked for a minute. you were saying you almost had a buck but some off-roaders came and spooked them off
i wish i had more time to take her out and train her but with a 4 year old son to watch on the weeknd’s it makes it hard to get out as much as i’d like
this was the first experience i had with taking a dog out in the field. i had a dachshund when i was a kid that would go run the fields by my house and chase rabbits and coyotes all day long till we got home with our dobermans. my new dachshund loves chasing lizards at the apartments. i think...
took the 6 month old weiner out to chase rabbits for the first time today. she did good. stayed by my side the whole time and never flinched when i shot a few rounds. only saw two cotton tails and a jack but too far for her to see and chase. but overall was a good hike and day for her. did bump...
