I have had two Foodsavers for many years. Both work fine. The auto-shutoff on the big one took a crap on me, but I just hold the vacuum button down until the air is gone and then just manually seal it. They are not for heavy-duty use though.

I second John's answer 100%. Bullet material retention is mandatory for big game. You don't want a bullet that explodes or sheds mass unless you are varmint hunting. Barnes bullets are noted for their accuracy. I have used them for years and have always been 100% satisfied with the results...

Just worked out some handloads for "Lucky". Using 24.0 grains of H335, CCI 450 magnum primers and Hornady 53-grain V-max boattail bullets produced a five-shot, half-inch group at 100 yards. Three bullets went through the top hole. This is a five-shot group!
