    Remington's 870 Express or Weatherby's PA-08?

I'll recommend the 870, although I've become pretty attached to my Benelli Nova. I realize it might be a bit more expensive, but if you ever want to shoot a goose with 3 1/2" shells, the Benelli will do it. Never had a jam, or any problem for that matter. And I used to have an 870. It HATED...

    any foxpro's for sale?

That's a good price for a Wildfire for sure. I bought mine (before I knew Fine Firearms had them) from allpredatorcalls.com and I paid $199 there. That's pretty much the going rate across the board, and I looked everywhere. I highly doubt you'll find anyone willing to part with theirs though...

    First Casualty of the season

I've seen them with worms and it's pretty nasty. My grandpa always said he'd only eat them if they were killed in the months WITH an "R". It's been my experience that the only time I've seen them with worms was the summer months. But hey, maybe I'm just finding the weird ones...

Got reminded this morning on how difficult hunting a coyote can be

They do blend in well. Unfortunately for me, I'm color blind, so it makes my stands that much harder. All browns and grays to me. I just need to start hunting them in the snow!

    Back yard bonanza

Are you sure you're not posting up at my house? I have the EXACT same fence and the same 230 am gang strolling through. Looks like a bunch of fur hats walking around to me!

    Stolen Tree Stand

Nuff said. Bust out the iPhone and film the clown. Then follow him to his car. Make his day miserable. As long as you don't punch him I think you have the law on your side.

    Who stole it?!!!

Bummer dude. That sucks for sure. Next time invest in a cable lock. Much harder to cut off. Strands and strands of cable.

Any animal with a bow is a trophy. They all eat the same. Get er done.

    Wow

Yikes! Next time, take a tree hugging lib out there and push them into the path of the lion. See if they think it's as beautiful as it's eating them!

    Help I need a medic

Ask them to send two so I can put one on my scratched, dented, beat up, proven, daily-driver hunting truck! Haha

    Any advice?

Consider this; A good friend of mine grew up in Jackson Hole, WY and bow hunted elk there all his life. A few years ago he moved out to San Diego, and tried his hand at turkey hunting. He told me he NEVER hunted as hard for elk as he has for turkey. So buy a map, pick a spot, and give it a go.

    California-legal 7.62x54r ammo for hunting?

I've had plenty of time behind those old 91-30s and can say with certainty that I wouldn't feel comfortable taking a shot beyond 200 with those old iron sights. Now, with that said, I did "sporter-ize" a couple of them with a friend of mine and made them into scout-style rifles (long eye...

    Well hello!

Agreed. And if you ever need someone to take back to Colorado for a hunt, just call me.

    Hunting TV Show

If it were me and I was in the market, I'd be dropping some coin on something with a bed...aka a truck! My bowtie hasn't ever let me down and it'll look good on tv... ;D
