    GPS

I have a Garmin Rino 655t with the OnX landowner maps. My hunting partners also have Rino's and the feature of being able to see where they are as well as functioning as a GMRS radio is nice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    DFW New Proposal

My wife killed a blacktail and my son took a cow elk with factory copper .243. Just like lead rounds, try a couple different loads and see what your gun likes the best. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    243 winchester upto 850 yards

The .243 is a fun round. I bought a .243 Howa for my son and wife to learn with. Last season my wife killed a decent buck and this season my son killed a cow Tule elk. First kills for both of them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Howa Ranch Rifle

The Howa 1500 rifles are pretty good in my experience. The weatherby vanguard is made by Howa. They both seem to have good reviews for the price. My son shoots a Howa .243. Its accurate and gets the job done. He killed a 300 pound cow elk at FHL with it last month, so can't complain. Sent...

A guy hunting D-16 with automatic rifle

I heard the 25-30 rounds in less than a 2 minute period in the area I was hunting. Were they blindly into brush?...I hope not, I hope it wasn't a hunter at all. I'd rather it be someone target shooting in CNF, at least that, hopefully, would be safer than someone blasting away at a running...

    first time deer hunter

First of all good luck out there. For the field dressing and butchering, you tube is a big help if you've never done it or seen it done. The method you use is up to you and your situation. Will you be solo? How long/hard of a hike back to the truck? Feel free to PM me, I'll probably be in the...
