OK, here's the target for the 62-grain TSX using 25.0 grains of Varget...just over 3/4" group at 100 yards. Not quite as good as the 50-grain VG group, but acceptable.
LP, you just solved my dilemma! For some reason. I was looking at the MPG's, not the TTSX's. John, can you get me two boxes of the 55-grain TTSX's? Again, THANKS LP!
I tried to work up a load for the 62-grain Barnes TSX BT in my AR using H335 but it wouldn't pattern. It seems that H335 works better for the lighter bullets. Barnes suggests Varget or Reloder 15 for the 62. Anyone had any luck with something else? Suggestions? Thanks
One of our club members (active duty USMC) was up deer hunting on Pendleton this past weekend when a coyote walked out into the open and got whacked! There are a lot of dogs up there.
I was out hunting coyotes two weeks ago and my buddy was using the call. As we walked into the stand, we saw a doe and yearling hanging around. As soon as the call was turned on (I believe it was a cottontail call), the doe came storming in, snorting and kicking rocks for a couple of minutes...
