You have clearly provided irrefutable evidence of the exact opposite here in this thread, and on other forums.

A plug does not turn an illegal lamb into a legal ram. It just means the person doing the plugging did not know how to properly apply the legal measurement requirments. But since you attended the orientation, you should already know your lamb is not actually legal.

That lamb clearly does NOT meet the legal measurement requirements: straight line drawn from anterior base of horn to the visable part of the posterior part of the eye. Clearly your lamb does not meet those legal requirements from either side.

That again is the right side (same side) of the lamb. Are you afraid to show us the your lambs left side?

After seeing pictures of him holding the lamb, from both sides, I simply do not see how his lamb meets the legal take requirements. But maybe he will post up a clarifying picture; if it was not confiscated already.

From my perspective, rabbit, deer, elk... they are all the same except for size and weight. If you can handle and elk, you can certainly handle a deer.

Generally, a ton of work goes into the point of pulling the trigger; and generally, even more after pulling the trigger. If your several miles back in, it's benifical to not pack outbbones. So in short, it's benifical to know or be with someone that knows how to debone an animal.
