No, my son got someone to bite on it through Craigs List I believe. Glad it got sold. He and his family are making their escape from Commiefornia to Tennessee in July.

I'm listing this here for my son. He's a diesel mechanic and has done much of the work on this himself. PM me if interested and I'll have him contact you.

Tom Trakes, from San Jacinto Wildlife Area, advised that they have scheduled a Special Volunteer Workday for the San Jacinto Wildlife Area. The date is Saturday, July 9th. This special workday is for the assembly and installation of three new prefab metal permit booths. These booths will replace...
My understanding (subject to my misinterpretation and/or misreading of the provided info). 15 HP is not a limit. That is the cut-off, so to speak, for the requirement of a CA boating card if you're 45 or under or 50 or under after Jan. 1st. Perris has nothing to do with the boating card, it's...
After a 17-year hiatus, the Lake Perris State Recreation Area will be reopening waterfowl hunting every Wednesday during the 2022/23 Southern California Zone hunting season. Duck hunting was suspended indefinitely in 2005 due to the lake being drawn down for repair work on Perris Dam. Info...
Yup, they should have been doing this all along. This will be the first water storage reservoir in CA since they built Diamond Valley in 1999. You'd think water storage would have been a priority in a state that's in "perpetual drought" (Moonbeam's words) but it was more important to give the...
Looks like you did well...when 7/10/22 rolls around again can I come along with you? I know you couldn't take me this time since the DeLorean only holds two people.
I've heard that with rentals (like Uhaul) a lot of people are driving to AZ or NV and renting there and driving back to CA and going from there. Even with the extra gas and mileage people are saying it comes out cheaper AND they can actually find one when they need it.
You want to hear some real hypocracy? Didn't watch the Oscars, never will, but you'd have to have been living under a rock not to have heard about "the slap". Now I've heard that the "Academy" has put out a statement on Twitter condemning "violence of any form"... Seriously?! This from an...
Tom Trakes, from San Jacinto Wildlife Area, advised that the first volunteer work day for the upcoming season at San Jacinto Wildlife Area will be Saturday, March 12th. This work day will be primarily for cleaning up the blinds and the general hunting areas around them... (info below)...
As per our other discussion, I'm happy to change it if Tom advises it's wrong. This is straight from him and he was given a copy to approve before it went out. Since he's going to be the one checking people in Tom would be the one to contact about that. As they say, don't shoot the messenger.
Tom Trakes wanted me to get the word out to all the Junior Hunters and their adults regarding the regulations that the SJ Staff have to go by for the upcoming Junior Waterfowl Hunt on Saturday, February 5th. Tom wanted to get the word out on this as they simply DO NOT want to have to turn away...
Big 5 is usually a sort of self-serve when it comes to DFW licensing. If you don't know what you need or want they don't either so it's best to study up on the licensing requirements before you go so you can walk the millennial at the front counter through it.
I may be wrong but aren't coots pretty much regulated by the feds like ducks are? The states set seasons and limits for ducks and geese but they have to do it within the federal framework. Is it the same for coots? Just asking because I don't really know. If they are then to get an extended...
Those tules are something else. What they need is some type of herbicide or something to control them. I remember a couple of years ago they mowed them (or disked them) out from around Marsh D about 2 months before the season and by opening day they had all grown back.
