    Wtf

My money is on a growing operation. I've found them and talked to people in the forest service that say it's everywhere. If you ever find irrigation pipe or fertilizer, etc. in the forest get the heck out of there the way you came is what they told me.

Interesting theory as to why sometimes they fall right there and sometimes they run

My bent in this thread is just as much, if not more towards coyotes...

Interesting theory as to why sometimes they fall right there and sometimes they run

It's fun to kick around, but I think the only rule is that there are no rules, at least not hard and fast ones. Even the adrenaline theory doesn't always work though I'm sure it's a big factor most of the time.

I forgot to mention...if you have to pick the BEST time, it's probably morning...but it's always chances.

Interesting theory as to why sometimes they fall right there and sometimes they run

Here is the theory...nutshelled. Hydrostatic shock through the circulatory system to the brain during a heartbeat. The problem is, it doesn't give much explanation for why the may or may not drop with an arrow. Perhaps the "wimp" theory is best. ;D

    Best time for coyote ?

Good story as to how not to train them, and to outsneak them.

    Best time for coyote ?

Don't miss, and SNEAK/HUNT your way in. If they see you first, you trained them. I think people YouTube too much and don't read enough. The tube never shows how to sneak in, set up, and not get busted, just guys whacking clueless untrained dogs. Almost every article I've read stressed stealth...

The San Diego board of supervisers plan

Anza Borrego decided they wanted to get rid of Salt Cedars in the Carrizo Gorge/Wash...hired an operator with a grinder and he went in and ground them all up. Year later, they're back bigger than before. A simple Google search will tell you the effective (and ineffective) ways to eradicate Salt...

    Best time for coyote ?

I've read the same...goes to show, there's no hard rules for yote habits. It may depend on how hungry they are. They are not hungry here this time of year, at least not where I've been hunting the most.

    Best time for coyote ?

I live where it's real hot, and they seem resistant to coming out of the shade to a call when it's hot. In my experience, this time of year, they are out just a little while after sunrise, and don't seem to get out and about 'til well after dark. When it's cooler, they might be out anytime.
