That is correct, for California or many other situations with bighorns (exception, Canada) it’s 3/4 horn. Full curl is typically of dalls and stones, not so much deserts and Rocky’s because how many bighorns still have their lamb tips very few and if they do they are typically very young.
In California it only had to be 3/4 curl, which is typical in most states that are bighorns because bighorns are typically broomed off, this is a big issue and main reason there is such a low success rate in Canada for rocky bighorns
Congratulations on your ram, I had got a report that the whites did get hit very hard with this past winter and would have never expected for so many sheep to get killed because of it. I heard lots of deadheads, and very few rams only really young and small rams found. Looks like it’s going to...
Awesome I will have to give this a listen
heck yeah that would be cool, I have a few of them between guiding deserts, packing for dalls this year and my personal sheep hunt. Could be a lot of fun for sure. Let me know when, I can talk sheep hunting for hours.
I have seen this as well on mm, including him changing his username to throw people off, and bullying people and striking fear with non sense to persuade people to not apply for the whites, the dude gets ran off on two of the forums I follow not counting this one.
Yeah it seems like his common practice, plus on other forums he has tried to scare and bully people to not apply for this tag to try and deter people from applying for it to increase his odds of drawing it.
