Yah, probably Jess Ranch stocker. Caught it back in Feb in Lake Morena. Don't think any of them survive the summer temps there...It's pretty deep but very little flow, so it's pretty low on O2 and gets pretty warm.

Yeah, I hunted I'D elk/deer archery for 2 weeks last Sep. Elk bulls every other day...no shots taken though. Passed on a deer at 10 yds broadside, hoping for an elk. All DYI solo at 9000 feet with OTC tags!! What a state! Good luck to you and yours!

I've only seen one lion in person. 75yds away and I was on my hands and knees in heavy brush. Out near Hauser Wilderness area. Here's a pair in my honey hole.

I just started with a bow. Went to Bow n Arrow shop. They set me up with a Bowtech Carbon Icon, arrows, target bag, trigger and string wax for around a grand. Great setup and they are really helpful sizing the bow for you and giving the basics of bow marksmanship.

Agree, they stay in an area unless pressured. I see the same ones over and over on cameras and with binos. Trick is getting them in a decent shooting lane with the limited visibility in the thick stuff I hunt.

Outstanding! Better than anything I've seen on public land in D16 and I spend a lot of days scouting and in the field during the season. Glad you didn't have to regret passing on the forkies. In D16, I see two horns, I shoot! Your hard work certainly paid off!
