    Newbie reload

another note on reloading. nothing wrong getting a couple of manuals. you will also get a lot of verbal advise such as crimp or not crimping, choices of primers, type of powder, brand of bullet. unless your reloading to be a sniper and hitting a target at 5,000 yards and you have a gun that cost...

    Newbie reload

Yes, the purpose is to be able to unload the bullet from the brass with primer seated. It removes the bullet and dumps the powder all at the same time and contains it within the device.

    Newbie reload

I would invest in a kinetic bullet puller if your getting into reloading. They are cheap and will help out in case of any mis loaded ammo or any other issues. I have been reloading since I was 20 and now at 58 still load. Good luck.

Public land wild pigs around Ventura county?

The hog situation on VBAFB is very slim. The base is actually trapping and tagging what few hogs remain. Between the draught and predators the population is down extremely low. I have only killed 2 hogs on the base since mid 90's.

    Free Pre-64 Winchester Model 94

I can only give one suggestion. Find a youth that wants to really go hunting and cannot afford a gun. This would not only make you feel good but warm a youths heart that cannot afford one.

    New Guy from No Ca.

Sounds a little steep for deer hunt. I will pass on $8K and for $1,100 I can buy a lot of pork for that money. Tejon isn't that expensive and I think there prices are high enough.

    Recreational shooting spots (BLM)

Southbay Rod & Gun is only $125 per year. They have several different ranges from rimfire, skeet, 100 - 300 long range. If you add it up when you go to other ranges that charge either hourly or day fee and if you go several times then it pays for itself.

Beginning the season - Sweetwater 2021 Week 1

Yea the dumb asses are draining Loveland which will only give them 7 months of water free while they pocket the money allocated to buy water. Now Loveland is nothing but a mud puddle. Was good fishing at Loveland now it sucks.
