Archery is less crowded than general. That said, the crowds die off after opener for both. 400 yards is a liability, I'd go further. You can't hike far enough to completely get away from other hunters here. Obviously the further you go the less the chance but you're never more than a few miles...

Like with most things, the more time you can spend doing it the better. The NWTF meetings will certainly help cut the learning curve.

Couldn't agree more. He is slicker than most would admit. Every interview someone on the right thinks they "own" him but in reality he is learning better talking points and honing his message (lies).
