Private charter on Oct 4-6, 2024 - two day out of Seaforth

max for this trip will 15, it's an 18 person boat. price will be affected a little ($25-$50/person if we go with less, just depends on how many less). I've been on a full boat, but usually we do this trip with 14-15 and there's plenty of room on the bunks and on the rail.

    First Lite

YETI, you're a dork. ha ha ha I've been using UA Ridge Reaper for 4-5 years. Switched to Kuiu Valo for the 2024 season. I did get the Kuiu LT down in solid brown, which I prefer. But I've loved the Valo since it first came out. Seems to be one of the more consistent camo patterns for...

    D14 AO tag filled

Long story not made short. Within the two weeks before opener, my very close aunt and my dog passed away. It was a very challenging two weeks before opening day. I met my buddies in D14, got absolutely drenched with rain on Friday evening all through morning. In fact, we planned to be up at...

    Anti-theft ideas

unfortunately, i do not believe they are. but if you have anyone in your immediate family who has an iphone, sync it to their phone. if someone steals your stuff, anyone near that airtag with an iphone will act as a mesh network notifying whoever has the tag sync'd. i know it's a pain this...

Open spots - Oct 6-8 fishing on the Voyager out of Seaforth

Yeah, that weekend happens to be in between my archery and rifle season, so it's always just worked out. But honestly, I'm an average hunter at best, and much better at fishing, so I've put way more in the freezer on this one trip then I have in a hunting season. I really need to up my hunting...

Open spots - Oct 6-8 fishing on the Voyager out of Seaforth

Yup, I'm aware of the limits and how they work. That's why this is actually scheduled as a 2-day, but we're just getting back a little early...before dark. I hate coming back late on a Sunday, then making the drive home when you're already beat tired. So I'm planning on being back at the dock...

    Spot & Stalk bow hunting

Last weekend was a pretty full moon. It's been my understanding, when it's a full moon, deer stay awake most of the night and do what deer do, eat, shit and frolic. This makes them tired much sooner during the morning/day. I do not have personal experience other than what more knowledgeable...

    Off grid power

Agreed, however, I will say, the 500 is heavier than I thought it would be. Not debilitating, but it's not as easy to move/toss around as the 240. Has a little more heft. I'll be testing it out the rest of the month during AO season.

    Off grid power

So recently picked up a Euhomy 55 qt fridge. The Jackery 240 will keep up no problem with ideal sun conditions to recharge it back to 100% during the day. You'll want at least 50-60% to keep it going all night. Because of a cloudy day at camp, ended up picking up a Jackery 500. Here's both...
