In my experience, which is admittedly limited, they return to their normal patterns within a couple of weeks of rifle ending. I also saw a lot more rutting activity as things cooled down more

That ridiculous. A LOT of that area is not in the burned area. The fire hasn't even crossed the 18 so there is no reason to close the area north of 18 and west of Rim of the World.
Any chance they'll reconsider the closed area once the fire is 100% contained?
