Thanks! When I moved out here about 2 years ago I said to myself, there is no way to hunt this terrain and there's NO deer. Now I'm obsessed. I hunt in some "better" deer states, but there's something about grinding it out in D16 - the heat, the thick chap, the reclusive deer. Nothing better.

Nice buck on public D16! Noticed he was big bodied when he finally got up and went over a ridge. Shot these pics from about 200 yds. Nice set of eye guards. The ladies were out and about as well, strutting.
