2018 Boar Hunt

After missing a huge boar the evening before I was able to connect on this respectable 180lb younger boar on Mother’s Day. I used my trusty .25-06 with 100gr Barnes tsx bullets. We (my old man and I) dad smoked 2 pigs and we ended up with 3 wild pigs (all young boars) and have a bunch of sausage just picked up from butcher. I look forward to our yearly pig hunt up on the central coast as a way to fill the freezer.

Thanks for all the feedback. This is a guided hunt on cattle ranches but is never easy. Rarely do we get on em in the fields and typically work like spot and stalk. All sausages jalapeño cheddar/polish/Italian/ breakfast and ground chorizo from this batch.
